808's design reminds me of the N86 / N97 era.. but who cares anyway? only the speakers should be place somewhere else, I mean, why put it there?

the only thing i dislike about speaker is why absent of stereo again.

look at the "Maximum resolution matters" for your answer. Typically, phones normally have native 4:3 or 16:9, say they have native 4:3 aspect ratio, then shooting a 16:9 photo only means they just crop the top and bottom away from the 4:3 photo, while for N9/Lumia 800/Pureview, it's different.
The sensor is round, so that u get the width of 16:9, and also the height of 4:3, meaning it's not just mere dropping the images when you change aspect ratio, instead, it's shooting without cropping, which is good

Added on March 15, 2012, 11:13 am808 wins, handsdown, like the N8, it provides lossless video zoom, but last time, due to sensor limitation, the lossless zoom only activates when you zoom out 2x or more, but this time around, on the 808, it's all the time lossless zoom, meaning you will not lose any detail or degrade the video when you zoom in, since the 808 have so much pixels to spare XD
It's the same for images too, zooming in will only reduce the oversampling, and the max zoom will mean that you will be using the original pixels without oversampling, still not consider losing quality, compared to how other digital zoom are working.

not to mention, at a cheaper price. Asphalt 6 is only RM2, while on AppStore and Play Market it's 0.99 USD, around RM3.xx

The typical common sensor is not round, but during the development of the camera module for Nokia N9, Damian Dining come up with this new ROUND sensor, which will take advantage of both worlds (4:3 and 16:9).
Thus, with the same 28mm focal length in 35mm format lens, it gives WIDER view on 16:9 format. It's all been explain by Damian Dining and also mentioned in my Nokia N9 review. I notice this when I was comparing the view between N8 and N9, so did some research and found this info.

sadly this phone doesn't run on windows, don't the 640×360 screen resolution is too low compare to the capabilities of its camera? will it affect the quality of the photo too much?

nope..camera wont affected by screen resolution...even N8 produces better picture than iPad 2 /iPhone 4

screen is meant to see only mar, where will affect one XD

of course not are you saying those expensive DSLR like d800 shoot at 36MP but display on their small screen will effect the photo quality?
