Petronas located at lebuhraya Bukit jalil (near puchong jaya), there's a TnG counter inside as well but only accept cash. Top up at their cashier counter for payment with cc.

That's the same one around the Kinrara Furniture Street ;-)

say i have maybank cc with credit limits of rm10k, and cimb with credit limits of rm10k.

does both credit limits taken as total of rm20k? or is it actually calculated seperately?
*
Each credit limit is treated separately for different banks.

I feel a bit unsecured when telling them the 16 digit credit card number.
Only three pass phrase in order to make transaction online, those are 16digit number, card expire date, and 3 digit number on the back of the card.
*
I always give my IC even when they ask for card number.
All calls are recorded and if you dont trust the bank staff, how you going to communicate effectively

I have made a reservation for a hotel room using my CC and it is not charged yet.
Is it possible for me to request the hotel to charge my another CC instead?
If yes, this should be done during check-in or check-out?

Thank you
*
Let the reception know when you want to check-in that you will charge using a different card.

is it normal to be issued credit card with slight different number when you previous card expired?

Normally the CC number is retained when new card is issued upon expiry of the old card.

QUOTE(noonies_naruto @ Aug 7 2013, 09:24 AM)
hi there.

Im using a maybank visa credit card.

When I open my online statement, it always says,

Statement balance      RMXXX
Outstanding balance  RMXXX

i always pay the 'outstanding' balance because that is the only figure that keeps changing every time i make a payment using the credit card.

but the statement balance, there has been an amount of RM200 plus, which i dont know what is it about.

If its a balance that i need to pay, then why dont just put it under the same group? like just put it as outstanding balance.

I want to ask what is that statement balance about, and do i need to pay it?
*
You should ALWAYS PAY Statement Balance BEFORE the Due Date ...
The Outstanding Balance is Statement Balance (Billed Transactions) + Unbilled Transactions (current swipes)

i have a question.

between ocbc titanium cc 5% cash back and uob one cc 5% cash back on petrol.

which one is better ?
*
My vote goes to OCBC Titanium MasterCard. If you have lots of petrol transactions per month, consider HLB WISE Card (10% on Petrol category)
