A compression pants would make ur leg feel fresh the next morning?? for real?
I would buy without a think if that's the case, which I highly doubt so haha
*
i think compression is genuine thing... it is medically used worldwide for people with diabetes and DVT... more known as compression or flight socks...

though it was never used medically on anything other than socks.. the idea was that gravity is pulling or making it hard for all the fluids from our body to circulate back to your heart from the feet... because pressure is low at the feet or something like that and the blood pools there up to the point that the blood circulating there is harder to pump up back into your heart....

it certainly helps to improve blood circulation around the feet.. hence, in theory... aiding the recovery as more oxygen can be delivered to aid muscle recovery...

To be honest, if those japanese school girl knee high socks got compression effect, i dont mind getting one...

the 2XU compression sock cost about RM149 le...!

Added on July 23, 2012, 2:41 pm

y would i want to bluff you.

it's 2XU long compression pant. u can ask the seller is it true or not? been using it for 2 years, it's just become physiological effect now. the compression no longer giving compression as new, and yet you feel the recovery in good progress.  rclxub.gif

that's my experience. But as i'm training more, i realised, compression wear for recovery doesnt hold anymore. now i just need 2 days to recover naturally without any aids of external influence. you just need to endure the pain in the process to be stronger and recover faster.

Now i just need comfort compression pant for every single workouts.

running 42km, its just become weekly affair if i'm continue pursue in running.
*
calm down dude... we are not saying you are lying... dun fret... there must be some real use since there is already that many people using it.... so, there must be some truth about it...

i don't think you actually need to buy 2xu socks... just the conventional compression socks from pharmacies or even those pricier school flights socks will do similarly well.. and they are priced cheaper...

all this recovery thing is a bit too hyped up in the recent years for me...

Do you any website or references more ways to roll your body>?

Compression wear is so so expensive, can wear my father's DVT socks for that?

last i bought it through the official channels in malaysia... the original tape, is about RM75 per roll..2 inch wide ones.. jus learn to stick with some e-books i downloaded off the net... it lasts about 3 days on the body depending on how sweaty you are and how much you bath...

my first time was done up by a guai lo who introduced me to it... he studied the courses but never applied to be a practitioner... he gave me a leftover roll because he bought a lot of it when he went back to his home country...

i saw quite some runners in last years KL marathon having their knees taped...

i bet'cha this is going to kill you faster than compression wear...haha

but if you go ebay... there are some other tapes and also more cheaper originals.. KT tape la, spider tape or somethin li tat...

"knee pain and female doc" is where i thought you go for the doc jus because it's a female.. not because of you have knee pain... you are the one who confessed that you liked to get your ass jabbed by nurses.. dun blame me dude...i just went with the facts and logical deduction was the female doctor was the primary reasons you went to her... anyways, enough BS...

RM10 is like a bit too cheap le just for the fees... last i got a real practitioner tape me... jus tried for fun la... went with a friend.. RM50, i dunno wats the split.. but covers tape and fees... my balls fell out of my pants on that occasion.. never went back again no matter how pain....

but if you are interested.. can learn one... jus study the book and if you want deeper knowledge.. study a bit on human anatomy..

looking at each other.. or looking at chicks... and then looking away when the chick looks at you..

but seriously.. i think they are jus looking at a dude grinding against a big pole and trying not to laugh...looking at a chick (pretty one for that matter) grinding against a bit pole is a different matter all in all...

avoid eye contact...

a simple lepak-ing in the UPM nearby should be able to spot some bike shops.

Anyway, uni student will use their PTPTN loan $$ to get fancy bikes? brows.gif brows.gif

this 1 is luxury market, if the above said situation happening.

else, students might look for some value for money RM100 bike for cycling within campus, doing P Ramli style stunt with lovers... icon_rolleyes.gif

i guess you just have to cold call them and see if they are interested...

it's a business proposition to them anyways.... but you better have data ready on what things that will sell and what are the target audiences... no point bringing the wrong things to sell there...

DANG!!!...

the guai lo told me 1 very unconventional way of telling how kinesio tape works... he said, when you have a muscle ache.. the pain goes away when you use your hand to grab the area, rite? this is the same way how kinesio tape works by using your tape to lift the skin up so the fluid retention from the inflammation can drain through the lymph nodes and stuff... i didn't understand him and i was sceptical about his explanation... but, it seemed to work for me at least... i think there is a certain limit to what it can help.. broken bones or fractures like cadel evans... doubt it... pain, inflammation ... most likely if taped properly...

and for the record... i didn't get taped by a pretty girl... so, judgement is not impaired nor skewed at that point tongue.gif

that's the marketing words? I dont understand, it's too complicated

As my understanding, restrict movement, provide slightly extra support so you will exert more unnecessary impact on your injured muscle.

It's not a one cure all solution, it helps when you HAVE TO exercise when you are injured, else resting is still the best cure..

it's no marketing la.. he doesn't sell his services or the tape... he tried to explain it in laymen terms and letting me relate to how the tape will aid in providing pain relieve and recovery...

restrict movement, and provide support is the words that i read from the kinesio materials...
