Hi guys, just bought a ST25i for my Boss's nephew. Currently it's running Gingerbread and the pc companion tool refused to update to ICS for me(it says my gingerbread is the latest edition). wondering if i flash this file onto my phone, will that void the warranty? SI 1261-8745.5 here. And if i flash, will pc companion or Sony know i flashed it via 3rd party methods? Thanks!

went back to DirectD to exchange the phone with an Ori unit. Their selling price RM629 for white and RM599 for black ori. went home, connect to pc, succesfully updated to ICS
