hi guys, recently just got my xperia p. It was on ginger bread, everything works fine until i update to ics last few days, battery life went downhill and the image lags when double tap to zoom. Is this normal?    initially i update through pc companion, then do a repair, finally use sony update service. It is all the same..a bit regret update to ics....

It happen like that to me too. It is actually charging. But when it stays at certain percentage, just restart your phone and it will show correct percentage.

Another issue, when I leave my phone charging overnight. In morning the battery will drain to 0%. I cannot even turn off my phone and connect charger again will not charge the battery. Need to unplug the charger, wait for 30 min and plug it back in, only it will start charging from 0%. This happen to me twice. Now I never leave it charge overnight again. 

does it need root access?

thanks bro. but the google play link for non-root phone there is invalid. the app no longer there.
