QUOTE(iRonTech @ Jul 1 2012, 06:23 PM) LoL 576/612 is worth to use, one of the important feature is battery temperature reduced when/after heavy usage. provided not problematic MY 612 I tried RU version for 612... same problem... Will skip further update until new version available... wasting my time and my internet bandwith downloading so lousy firmware.. 612 got wifi issue.. cannot use at all.... doggy 2g/3g network access, cut off during call... it's worst than battery issue... at least 564 don't have major issue at all... (as now)... this phone is just for internet access and normal daily use... no heavy usage... I have galaxy tab and xperia s for other purpose.

QUOTE(LazyKurosaki @ Jul 4 2012, 09:28 PM) Zzz I don understand why myphonethe back there so hot? Let me ask why: my lcd tv is hot my notebook is hot my car is hot my fridge back is hot. Because it's in working condition... There is a CPU to run your phone... that will hot. There is a battery to power up your phone, that will hot when high use.. there is chips to charge the battery... also will hot... CPU, Battery, Wifi, 3G, LCD... all become hot.... so combine that, your phone is HOT. Why back so HOT... there is where the battery and CPU located. QUOTE(Rawks @ Jul 6 2012, 10:13 PM) I need some help. I have Xperia U and i would like to know how to use the wifi. I connect it but it always states "limited connectivity". Do we like have to set setting or anything after buying it? Some of you are saying it cannot connect if it's upgraded? What does that mean and is there a way to check if it's upgraded? Thanks post your firmware version here.

QUOTE(suchap69 @ Jul 11 2012, 01:09 PM) hi all.... bought XP U last week with the intention of using it for 3g video call.... asked the salesman if can use vidcall, he said yes, straightly bought it (didn't do research as my earlier intention was to buy Galaxy W).... just found out yesterday after reading this thread that it doesn't support 3g vidcall.... rm8++ lesson there.... hahaha... but nevertheless i'm satisfy with it functions and appearance... has anyone tried to install papago x5 or any other gps sw on it? any other recommendation for free gps sw? Sygic and Papago M9 work fine on XPU, tested both.... didn't try X5... and won't try at all... GPS Maps always free... This post has been edited by nordingh: Jul 11 2012, 03:00 PM

(just kidding) if you reset yourself... free... Reset got two meaning... either reboot your router or reconfigure the setting. try to reboot 1st. firmware on your xperia p also can cause the problem...

smartphone need a smartuser too... smartphone is not smart enough to switch off certain feature when not in use... like bluetooth or wifi.
A lots of small 3rd party software can do that.... you just need to find a suitable one.
Some example i use. Auto Wifi OFF - no data then wifi is off Bluetooth Auto Off - no connection after certain time, auto off or when switch off my handsfree, auto off.

QUOTE(wanttobuylaptop @ Sep 3 2012, 05:01 PM) b4 update the phone is snappy in everything. after update there is visible lag when switching home screen, like _ 0.5 sec lag. and not everytime animation will run smooth. contact took 1 sec to appear some apps also took longer to respond not sure this will good for XPP or not but work well with XPS on 1st ICS update. you need to remove everything on home screen... apps, shortcuts, widget... then restart... after that add again 1 by 1... in developer setting, tick force gpu rendering.

QUOTE(ninehneh @ Sep 15 2012, 09:59 PM) went to Sony Centre. Wanted to get the Livesound headset for the phone. Tested the unit ( apparently it was the SMARTheadset unit cos it was from the Xperia S) it worked. however, upon opening the packaging, found out it cannot be used!! luckily, the ppl at the store were kind enough to assist and even allow me to exchange for something else ( Xba-1). So guys, be VERY CAREFUL!! Live headset sold in the shops are not compatible.(u will see a sony ericsson logo). it must be Smart Headset. Smart headset come with XPS doesn't work with XPU... i have booth phone... the retro phone handsfree also not work with XPS but OK with XPU... so booth phone using different connector.

QUOTE(azzeyx0x @ Sep 23 2012, 07:07 AM) Hi people, I have a question here, XPP require micro sim right? Where can I buy micro sim? ._. I googled micro sim and it stated that micro sim is only for those who used postpaid . But i use prepaid , Howw ? you can punch your normal sim to microsim. Most shop got the puncher or go to telco, ask them to punch if you want.

QUOTE(zero5177 @ Sep 24 2012, 08:21 PM) Wow. no sound some more! Then i have another concern here... Does Xperia P works with normal 3rd party headphone? Besides that the Ear bud in the box of Xperia P is MH750?? with normal 3.5mm headphone/earphone sure will work.... just need to be careful when buying the one with mic. there is 3 type of 3.5mm jack for stereo phone (should be more if mention mono). new Sony Xperia (2012) line phones use CTIA 3.5mm standard (basically same as Apple's iPhone) if want to use omtp in ctia jack or vice versa... get the converter like LU2
