e14 bulb in malaysia comes in 2 type of life span, one lasts 1000 hours, the other 2000 hours. However, if you leave the bulb on without any movement or vibration, it can go up to 1 year. But once it goes over its life span, even though its still on, a tiny vibration or switch off/on will burn it straight away ...

Wow, finally found this thread. Thanks mtsen.

Hi Guys, i have 5 salt lamps at my home, its on 24/7. But sometimes, it can get quite hot. And if you switch it off for a couple of hours, puddle of water will form under it.

But nevertheless, its serves many benefits, aesthetically and health-wise smile.gif

i looked up your recently participated threads coz you posted on my threads. A little sleuthing on my side, but if it wasnt for you, i wouldnt have found this thread.

Anyways, which salt lamps are the best? From which country? Poland?
*
today there are no such thing as Poland salt lamps coz almost All salt lamps in Poland are imported from Himalaya's. the salt deposit in poland mine is not clean enough to make good salt lamp and also expensive to mine them in Poland.

salt lamps can provide 3 main functions 1) air cleaner thru ionization 2) color therapy ( calm feeling etc ) and 3) feng shui.

the power of air cleaning is purely the NaCl. So the higher purity a salt lamp is, the better it is.

For color therapy it is a bit complicated because each and every person is different and a patient needs to be profiled first before a remedy can be proposed. Add to that, each and every single piece of salt lamp is natural and unique by itself too. Hence, each salt lamp can bring different effect to each person in color therapy. However, in simple terms, you can put a salt lamp near you and experience for yourself if that makes you feel better or not. try with different salt lamp until u 'feel' the one best for you .... is the practical methods in layman terms ...

feng shui is hard to recommend, because diff feng shui sifus use diff pratice. its best to consult your own feng shui sifu u trusted. If none, then just do some simple bazi analysis. salt lamp is a fire and earth element. Earth because its crystal and its from earth - same like calcite crystal. Fire is because its used as a lamp.

so no answer for which country's salt lamp is best. Its a matter of which salt lamp is best for you only. :-)

some salemen make up the real vs fake salt lamp stories so that they can sell theirs higher price. by now, all of them have gone missing liao ...
