QUOTE(mysql2779 @ Feb 27 2012, 09:56 PM) Bought 100FT CF stickers ?! U gonna DIY ? U must be skillful.. I can't do these hand works.. gambateh! Have you paint your car? I planning to change my car colour i want to compare the prices.I think I will go for re-paint because of the sticker life time is too short den I expected. Around 5 years. Save money from now for repaint. Before June may be able achieve. |

Motorsport Playground @ Sunway.
Quite a few Lotus, Porsche, Lamborghini goes there for wrap. Would be between 3 to 5k depending on car. Another one is AutoDetailer at Jaya One basement. They handle detailing for high end sport cars and also do wrapping. They quote me RM 10k |

Went to check on toms sticker when matte black just started to catch attention, certainly not cheap - was quoted RM3800, that was 2 years+ ago...and from what i understand, it is not easy to maintain, especially if hit by tiny stone,,could scar certain areas, especially front bumper, bonnet and lip area...worse is cannot repair...furthermore imo is suitable for certain color only....otherwise a nice paint should do a better job...as for repainted car being lower price when trade in...well..walk away then....there are certain paint job which cost up to RM5000....sometimes these ppl just wana reduce trade in amount - by hook or by crook...

I would rather paint because I love a glossy / shining car.
Wrapping most of them are flat colours right? Gen2 should cost around 1.8K also for interior and exterior painting with no added bonuses like glitter or pearl paint. |

Metallic, faux brushed steel or faux carbon fiber also got. Dun go for chapalang brand other than 3M vinyl wrap. |

QUOTE(ewan8811 @ Feb 26 2012, 04:02 PM) I agree with what Shawnzz said. Painted my ex-exora white and when want to sell it, the dealer told me that once I spray it, the value of the car drop. Btw, my hilux is fully wrapped with carbon sticker and it cost me around rm600 only cause my cousin owns a sticker shop well, i kinda like it cause its the only car in my hometown which is fully wrap with carbon sticker & from far it looks like matte black Hello.. Wondering, will the sticky stuff stick on the body after removed the sticker? |
