This is regarding the CVT overheat issue that affects early batches of the FLX CVT variants that caused several owners to either be stranded roadside or the car going into safe mode.

Later batches should have the issue rectified in the production line.

If you are in doubt, enquire at the SC to see whether it is necessary for your car to undergo the update, which should be done FOC.

not correct. sometimes 1.6 can be better than 1.3, under certain conditions. for a highway cruise, 1.6 definitely is better than 1.3. and the rpm is lower than 1.3 when coming to higher speed. in terms of weight and power ratio, 1.6 definitely provides more powerful performance than 1.3 under the same road condition.

if u say lower cc is FC wise, eg: kancil 660 is definitely saving much fuel on long journey. however it affects the time to reach ur destination as well. like wise, eat oil or not depends on the RPM reading. the higher the RPM the more the engine consumes. so even if ur driving a sportcar, but rpm always around 2.5k, it will as well consume fuel like normal rides. the only that matters is when u tend to rev ur ride, and opt for faster speed, u increase the RPM and thus it drinks.

oh, btw. 1.6 or 1.3, depends on ur need. if u compare 1.3 saga with 1.6 persona, it will be easier as by right, the car structure for 1.3 and 1.6 will be different, especially the door structure. but 1.3 and 1.6 saga are the same, so it really depends on what u are finding now.

The only reason I didn't buy 1.6 is because got no Manual Trans

But after 2 months bought it, suddenly got limited units of SE 1.6 Manual 

@mieza: Any other particular reason you want 1.6 instead of 1.3? Need to evaluate your Needs and forget all the Wants when buying a car... ...Unless you buy the car with your own money, then can pick whatever you want

In terms of FC, choose 1.6 if:

you always drive highway and/or
you always climb hill and/or
you always carry load in the car
Actually 1.3 CVT and 1.6 CVT cruise at the same RPM (unless you are running on SAT), but supposedly 1.6 can reach said RPM faster than 1.3.

And I also don't think wrapping leather will cost RM 2k gua 

1.3 CVT  = RM 45,211.00
1.6 CVT  = RM 49,899.00

RM 4688 difference.

2.5k for ori leather wrapping and the rest keep for mods
