QUOTE(dares @ Mar 16 2012, 11:32 PM) Welcome to the rattle club Thanks for the reply dares... btw i tried to sat behind and my friend drove me, i can hear the rattle come from speaker panel.. but i cant find out what source causes it to sound.. the SC will fix any rattle problem? The doors should be easy for any SC to fix. The rattling from behind I'm not sure, you'll need someone to sit at the back while you drive to identify the source. |

QUOTE(dares @ Mar 17 2012, 12:44 PM) You have to find out which part of the door panel is making noise, only then you can begin guessing which part to fix. the clip seems fragile really. i guessing that piece of leather decoration on the door panel making noise, when i depress the leather deco lightly then the noise gone Careful when opening and re-assembling the door panel, the clips breaks rather easily. That's why I suggest that you send it to SC if you can pin point where the rattling is coming from. |

my flx SE wheel arch place seems to be lacking of something called auto foam or chassis foam? because when i ran over sandy road or water, the sand or water hit the wheel arch very loud and noisy.. those compound which is rubber-like but very hard under the wheel arch.. they simply sprayed randomly on the wheel arch from assembly factory i guess. most part of the wheel arch are exposed steel.. is it suitable to apply chassis foam onto exposed area?

QUOTE(V12Kompressor @ Mar 28 2012, 11:15 PM) chasis foam is for concealed area because it needs something solid to act as a mould for it when it solidify. |
