An interesting discovery I've found out lately:

Been using Caltex RON95 petrol all this while on FLX. Result? car jerking quite bad during heavy traffic (the ones where you have to break every 3-5secs) and max rev till 3k rpm, any higher would need to step on more or wait for the car to pick up.

Changed to Petronas RON95 and car suddenly stops jerking under same traffic condition however feel quite slow pick up but can easily rev up to 4k+ rpm under same pedal condition.

Any thoughts? Gonna try Shell the next time.

I've been using Caltex all the while. Used Petronas once, no power at all, naik 3k pun susah, I tot my car rosak  doh.gif Went back to Caltex, revving 5k-6k  no problem at all.

Interesting. Yes Caltex does seem to provide faster acceleration since mine is auto. But I find it a little "heavy" meaning to say I can't easily rev beyond 3k rpm unless i force it. Could be because of the "power" Caltex fuel provide that caused my car to jerk while Petronas no power thats y cant jerk? lol. However its still odd that Petronas fuel made my car much lighter which enables to me easily rev up to 4-5k rpm but still no power sad.gif
