Wish I could say I enjoyed the DIY yesterday, but I was damn stressed out especially when I scratched the door trim panels and had difficulty re-installing them back because the insulflex was too thick (To quote myself yesterday "LAST TIME AND NO MORE!"). ohmy.gif ohmy.gif Even now the front door trim panels are not completely sealed so I have to cut out some of the insulflex out later, but I dah takut wanna dismantle the door trim panel sweat.gif

Guess I'm just not cut out for DIY, but many thanks to mahihi (I think he was quite stressed out by my car also rclxms.gif ) and Ah Wai of Yau Yip, as well as V12k.

But now the door trim panels feel 100000 times more solid...I can't even pressed it in like last time. mahihi also helped install the insulflex into the boot, and I still got a giant piece stowed away in my car for for my front bonnet rclxms.gif .

Next week I will collect my new Saga 1.3 FLX (Exe). Is there any checklist that I can refer for inspection my car before I drive the car home?

Want to ask if saga FL's door housing (dont know what it called) can be install rubber or something else, so when close the door won't sound like wanna break...hahahahaha....sat in my brother-in-law Perodua Alza, and when close it doors, felt like smoooth ....huhuhuhu.....

Soundproofing with insulflex helps. In my experience, those Perodua cars sound good when new, one year later they will close like milo tin kosong.

Anybody here experiencing a annoying 'teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet' coming from underneath the car somewhere at the back tyre with your FLX?  The sound is like the TV color bar when tv program not yet start. I wonder if its normal or something is wrong?
I just picked up my flx a few days ago. So far all OK except for this sound.
Fuel consumption now 300km left 2 bars.I think its quite high but i guess after first service later it will be better..or is it?
*
Could be the fuel pump under the rear seat.

If that's the case, it's most probably belts (+/-pulleys)...as Bro Eric posted... smile.gif
Also possibly when aircon compressor cuts in...? tongue.gif

Normal driving condition = use D

driving condition which requires faster acceleration (ie, hill climbing, racing with a kancil) = use L
