actually, that "tak tak tak" sound you guys are talking about... i duno if i have it... do u guys have it when u brake ??? even on flat surface ???

coz i have more like "krruuk" sound when my car is going down a hill and i brake till it stop.... theres a sweet spot when u release abit but dun release abit the sound ONLY come out.... i dun tink mine is the one u all talking about rite ? coz i tink most proton cars are also lidat ?

Feel rust due2 corrosion by by-products of combustion eg acids.
Probable causes :
1. Poorer quality by vendor who supplied the one used in yr car;
2. Type of fuel used...any additives added?
3. Is yr catalytic converter still part of yr exhaust sys?
4. A lot of short runs...
and mayb some other reasons?

Added on March 18, 2012, 5:18 pmps. I read a suggestion in Safer Motoring mag (in my ole VW 1300 beetle days...) to spray new engine oil into exhaust mufflers/silencers & tailpipes to extend their lifespan...
Mayb I shld start now...? B4 any rust takes hold?

However, dunno if it covers RUST...unless rust can be counted as "manufacturing defect"?

Anyone can recommend any SA to find Saga FLX SE MT? Out of 4 dealers, 2 of them didnt even know MT version exist. They even argued until I show them this.

Unfortunately, only one is willing to try but I'm not counting on it.

normal AT usually very minimal engine breaking, till you dont really feel it. gotta agree with vk12 that cvt engine braking is very obvious, sometimes cornering also dont press brake, not a problem-.-

in comparison to another normal AT car driven.

but i am glad la i bought a saga , minus the tech thing , you get a CVT gearbox worth 20k and is the same supplier as BMW gearbox !

Haha, when I bought it was either Inspira or the Saga, completely skipped the Persona 

By buying a Saga, I can save the money to buy a house / P321a / conti car later 

My LMST feel like conti car on the highway... Damn syok to cruise at 160km/h all the way back to Ipoh.

The rear dumbrake so easy to break ah? What causes it to easily kaput?
