Sorry, I misunderstood, Yes I did some research, and S2 thread is the fastest, and longest..
But not sure about the fastest??
How do you measure the rate of growth?

Anyway, S2 is still the most popular smartphone for now..

I mean I did my research on what someone said on the post above..
so if we believe the statement, an vague question arises about the rate of growth??
I have to agree with longest, but fastest?
hmm.gif  hmm.gif

if u really wan to measure the rate of growth.. simple.. u simply take a hot phone thread which the phone came out earlier than sgs2 and look at the version they are on now..
just take sgs n desire hd thread as example.. which are on v21 n 22.. so we can be sure that sgs2 thread took a shorter time to surpass both the thread.. u dun need complicated ways of determining it..
and even if someone says this thread is fastest and longest which might not be the case.. whats wrong with that.. just an exaggeration of some joy feeling..
no point arguing on this.. and actually thx to these bullshit that occur at some point of the thread made it grow so fast.. not to mention you are one of the contributor to these..

guys, could you please check the output voltage of your chargers? mine is standard travel adapters with 0.7A (700mA) output, it took ages to completely charged up the standard 1650mAh battery sweat.gif thinking to find another charger hmm.gif
*
i think how big ur output is also.. the input is still controlled by ur kernel.. n i think its normally capped at 0.65A for ours.. correct me if i m wrong..

just googled.. according to this thread from xda.. it says that our phone is limited at 0.65A because of hardware restriction wo..
but kernel can control the charging current.. like lower it or modify USB charging current to be higher than 0.5A.. .etc..

Don't be disappointed. ICS  will be available to G version. Just be patient.

does this apply to all android phones? Basically the update is dependent on where you bought your phone? I fail to see the difference ...
*
if i m not mistaken there is a serial key in the hardware of your phone that control this.. some may cheat ur kies by modifying registry that you are diff region.. nt sure if this still works..
