my sgs2 sudden death today.. i thought is battery prob n went to try new battery but still cannot on, even plug in the charger also no respond from the phone, worse to worse, I've to send it to SME for check n repair n the warranty may be void, now I'm regret for not buying USB Jig.

Yes, even plug in charger but no respond. As I said I try it to buy a new battery and when the new battery inserted, still cannot turn on.

Rumour date is March 15.

Because my s2 is non g version, I only noticed release date for non g.

Btw, just sent my s2 to service center, need to take a week long to fix my prob..

my s2 is back and they said is mboard prob??But great to have phone back in few days time, however.. All data in phone lost and some important contacts missed(I can't manage to backup it manually).
Thought Google server will backup the apps and contacts for me(in privacy, backup data checked), who knows I get a totally new phone at the end, nth is backup there.

Damn, I'll just wait for ICS update now, tired to install all apps n games one by one.

I did turn on auto-sync always.
still nth sync to the phone yet..

Just noticed my s2 auto restarted few times after back from service center few days, don't tell me is that mboard prob again..
