Would you say the RP battery life is better than Siyah? I have some problems in the Jkay Deluxe app. When I change the brightness profile, it says it requires a custom kernel. I am already running Siyah 2.6.12. Does RP have this problem?

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here goes:

A friend of mine dropped his Samsung Galaxy S2 in the toilet bowl and the phone got drenched in more than just water (he had just taken a sh*t).

I think he had taken apart the phone and dried the parts with a hairdryer, before trying to restart the phone again. After one day, he tried again and the phone could turn on and seems to be working normally (can play Angry Birds), can even make call. But there is no sound, cannot hear anything even after the call is connected, and cannot SMS.

So he sent to the Samsung repair centre in Low Yat Plaza and now they tell him that the motherboard has short-circuited due to water damage and need to replace with new one: RM780.

What do you guys think? Is Samsung's repair centre trustworthy?

I'm not lying; the broken phone call my phone and call is received (but no sound on the line), but I type a text message using the broken phone and press 'Send', and the message does not appear as a SMS chat bubble. Means can't see 'sending' or 'failed'. I find it strange also.

Basically like others mention, I have to swipe horizontal properly. Eg if I use the phone with one hand, quite hard to just flick the notification off.

And by swipe alot, I mean like have to swipe the notification for the length of say 1/3 or 1/2 of the horizontal screen for it to go off.

All in all compared to GNex rather hard. Sometimes in a hurry I don't get it right. Specifically I light touch macam tak jadi. Have to drag properly.

And if it's force close, I remember something.Back in MC2, I got FC also. Turns ability of the game to link to playlist was a problem.

1. If you get FC on launch, try long press home button, click MC from recent apps, see can or not (temporary work around last time in MC2)
2. Delete playlists if you have playlists (permanent solution for me in MC2 last time)

Not sure if it's the same issue, but since it's gameloft related, and if it's FC on launch, you might wanna give it a go (maybe try solution 1 first)

This is my theory. Most of us having problem playing with MC3 are those who downloaded the Free Promotion from Samsung Apps.

After you install, you can play. It recognises your existing ROM when it was downloaded. Once we flash to another ROM, MC3 will not be able to play....
