i did facotry reset and no pirated apps

I notice the proximity sensor light on my S2 kept turned on in Red....my wife's S2 do not have this problem.. anyone notice this on your S2?

Tried already.. Still the same... Notice this on the phone a few version of roms back already.

The reddish led is not that bright... Try to see it in a very dimmed room...

Ah crap now my phone stuck at galaxy s2 screen with yellow triangle. Just now pull down notification bar, tried to on data, it hanged, so i press home button. It went back homescreen, but no status bar, so i reboot, then stuck at boot up screen. Can access CWM, tried flashing different kernels but still cant boot up. Suggestions?

I'm trying to flash a new kernel to my phone but in Win7 it said can't install driver or something when in download mode and Odin can't detect my phone. I tried using CWM mode but somehow the superatmos .tar file isn't showing up either even I already have put it in the internal sd card. Cause and solutions, guys? Mine G version btw.

oh, pardon my noobness. Somehow after all this reading of the guidelines I still can't somehow manage to grasp the understanding of this flashing kernel and roms. Sigh~

I there anyway I can make the Win7 detect the phone in download mode? because in normal mode it can connect to computer using usb debugging just fine.

Yeah,it can get pretty confusing around here,but regarding ROMs relevant to either G or non-G,you just need to refer to the front page,just to be sure. Wildcat already organized the ROMs into respective category,so,no headache there. Trust me,I know it's hella confusing,with me being G user,i know how it feels.

Also,bros,can I flash custom kernel on a stock ROM? Kinda happy with the stock ROM,just needed a little battery boost,that's all. Is it possible?

I'm in CWM righ now and I don't see that option. All I got is reboot system now, apply update from sd card, wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partition. So the wipe data/factory reset will work the same I guess?

    Download rom from the link below.
    Extract the zip. You will find a folder.
    Copy the folder to /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/
    Go to CWM recovery
    Go to backup/restore option
    Select SuperROM_v1.0_I9100G
do i need an external SD card to have SuperRom?

No. But I do installed ROM Manager and my phone is rooted. Atm, flashing superatmos kernel using Odin. Say, how long does it normally take and where is the PASS gonna showed up if successful? right now on the message box I see it stuck setup connection for quite sometime.

If NEAK is not good, I wonder why Turkbey developer put it in instead of retaining Siyah?

I think NEAK kernel is a good kernel, never give me SOD and has great standby and screen on time. But nothing can beat redphill's screen on time 

You using ondemand/sio on redphill now?

i lazy to go change all those voltage setting for neak kernel
that's why i prefer to use on other kernel redpill and siyah are indeed very good kernel
but i don like redpill kernel touchable cwm
found it hard to use as it's touch too sensitive touch once end up touch 2-3 times

I just flashed to Turkbey v37SE.

I noticed that the screen is brighter (set to auto brightness) and the colours are richer (ie more colourful and contrast). Is it due to NEAK kernel?

Btw, the swipe away notification is cool!

Decrease the brightness you use lo (unless you use auto brightness)

But for auto brightness can use jkay to reduce it. Didn't really notice brightness difference on NEAK, mainly color difference

hmm turkbey v37 still stuck at my sdcard, coz jst flashed v36 few days ago.. lazy to wipe data again, coz wan to keep my sms , btw wat u guys use to backup ur sms? can TB back up sms?? if wan to restore jst choose restore app+data or app ony??
