Before and After!

Now  the yellow Filco key caps officially on sale
It is 87 + 4 Lavender WASD keys  total 91 keys +original Filco key puller

Opening price is RM120

unsure.gif ..... is it too high?
Welcome anyone counter offer.
But I will decide to sell it or not at last.
*
Hmm, is it just me or the arrow keys on your board doesn't seem to have offset problem? Filco fixed them? hmm.gif

BTW, RM120 should be fine as it included the key puller. Though lower price(like RM100) will make it more popular/suitable(cause the keys lack numpad, demand may be lower).

Yes it's possible to change the switches, but you need to do a lot of soldering works, and of course it voids the warranty.

I've a friend who modded all types of switches to his mechanical keyboard accordingly to his play style.

Filco for its premium quality (good QC from manufacturer side), Ducky for its look but slightly bad quality (that's why its cheaper compare to Filco), your call.

But since our local distri for Filco has adjusted the price for their Filco lineups, you can consider about getting them, unless the looks is what your concern then you may go for the Ducky Shine.

I agree with the Filco part, but I never tried a ducky, for the Filco I m typing on, the blue switch clicky felt great,
and as I changing the key caps, moving around holding in hand the weight the textures, every thing felt good in every category.

Thanks for the RM100 suggestion. I will consider it when I want to get another keyboard rolleyes.gif
but for now, the price I will set at RM120, postage not included.

BTW, What do you mean by the arrow keys offset problem?

There's a question I want to ask you guys, do you prefer to type on a flat/un-elevated keyboard or elevated keyboard...

because I find my ducky shine's extra elevation is still too low, and I put a few small blocks to increase the height.
If only your DAS is mx-blue switch... as I already own a brown switch
*
hmm... for me, i would prefer to type on elevated keyboard, because if it's unelevated, it feels like the keys are "unreachable" for me.... always need to adjust the height....

but the price seems not budging.... now makes me doubt what bro Edifier announced.... hmm.gif hmm.gif
But last time when the currency just hike, the change was quite fast.... but now when it dropped, the change is sooooo slooooowwww..... cry.gif cry.gif

i think i might as well live with the price, if i was a trader i also wont even do anything to it if other traders dont, indirectly i get more margin that way

it's pretty common in the world of business. lulz
last time i let ppl tryout mechanical keyboard during an IT fair in my uni, i asked those who tried it and 99% gave me mind-phucking answers.

example:
- got difference meh?
- this keyboard no word 1 can use de meh?
- this keyboard look same like RM20 keyboard bu why so expensive geh?
- wah, so expensive where got ppl want to buy oh?
- mechanical keyboard not razer meh?
- only "so-high" will buy this kind of keyboard, use only mah why need so expensive?
- etc blah...

they can buy a camera worth few k but not a mechanical keyboard (price is 10 times lower than their camera) doh.gif

When people doesn't see a purpose on spending that much on a thing that are commonly used at cheaper price, they will have this kind of mindsets, that's why company needs to hire product managers to educate the end users.

My first expensive tool that i bought for my self on computer are gaming mouse, it does makes a difference, if you use cheapo mouse, it will have tracking problem when you drag your mouse very quickly, that will screw your whole game when you are playing something intensive or requires fast movement, after i got my self a gaming mouse, the tracking problem is gone and i can do all sort of 360 degree or more spins without problems.

No surprise for people living at Kampar to have this kind of reactions, well you can just show them the "holy bible" to get to know more about mechanical keyboard.
