At least I can swap/change the RD when those who mostly use go down... |

QUOTE(SetsunaFSeiei Exia00 @ Mar 4 2012, 12:26 PM) You can just purchase any mechanical keyboard available locally, you won't really go wrong with them, it's about your budget, your favorite-ness on what type of switches you're going for. |

there are silent mechanical keyboards, and they are called Topres.
They are using a hybrid of rubber dome + mechanical and capacitive switches .... That is the only highend keyboard that uses rubber dome that i would consider. Then again it's way more expensive than the regular Cherry MX mechanical keyboards. So unless you feel that mech keyboards are too noisy for you, then the choices are either the mass produced rubber dome keyboards made (cheap) or Topre (very expensive) Personally i'm using a cherry brown mx non clicky, tactile keyboard. I find the noise volume acceptable It's clicky keyboards like Cherry MX blue, and IBM buckling spring keyboards that make the most noise ..... PS: even if you do decide to get a cheap rubber dome keyboard, don't waste your money on stuff like Logitech G15 etc.... that claim to be highend keyboard and cost alot ... if your gonna spend that much, you may as well get a proper mech keyboard that warrants the price. But if not, then get the cheap rubberdome that isn't marketed as a highend product (because they aren't, no matter if they add nice looking lighting to make it attractive) This post has been edited by Moogle Stiltzkin: Mar 4 2012, 02:41 PM |

Well what could i say, being an o2jammer is very sensitive when buying a keyboard (back in the days where mechanical keyboard isn't that famous), i've uses more than 10 types of membrane keyboard, most of them gives different feels, some tactile, some are non, so its better if you could state the feeling you wanted closest to which membrane keyboard. The last keyboard i use is Qsenn DT-35, the feeling is kinda like a stiffer version of Cherry MX Brown.
