i'm wonder what the different of Genuine, italian & Bovine Leather? Which better? How can we different shape those leather sofa?

Any recommended shop to buy leather sofa?

Suggestion is to go to some reliable and knowledgeable retailers to check and understand the leather first. Leather contributes a major cost to the sofa easily more than 60%. Whether you get a good value depends on the type, quality and thickness of the leather.

Of course, you got to look at the construction and design to your liking as well.

Normarly when should I start to place order for leather seat,it is will take 2-3 months to arrive snd deliver?

Nowadays with Melandas gone, I don't really trust these leather sofa sellers anymore

For leather sofa, the delivery should be less than a month more like 2 to 3 weeks.

There are many shops in town where you can survey. Some cost a bomb and lacks the quality and some very affordable with great quality. The forum is great place to spot some great buys.

2-3 weeks? no way

nowadays the factories are all in China. Take boat come here also takes 2-3 weeks already

This is the problem with China made or imported furniture. Worst if you have a quality problem, it takes a long time to fix. That is why the mark-up margins for imported furniture is very high in anticipation of any quality problem.

But there are quality sofa made locally. Delivery is fast and quality is good.

Any comment for miva, crown, rustica, vanadium design, tgl design & cavenzi? Which place good for purchase furniture? Anyone has experience b4?

No harm going around the more established sofa retailers such as Miva, Rustica, Rozel, Lorenzo, Gucca etc etc. Make sure to understand the leather type they provide. Preference is to go for Thick Leather rather than Bovine leather (many different grades and sometimes the sales person will try to confused you). Cavenzi, I think you can give a miss.

Miva now is having1/2 price sales. Will go to hv a look?

By the way, which season buy furniture will hv biggest sales for all those showroom? My hse is only getting key in may-Jun'12. Hopefully I wont miss the gold season.
