other battlefield series take place on real event of world war.
the location. the weapon. the people involve in war. most of them take place on large area where u can go on each corner of the map.... but in bf3...all these feature slightly chopped off....smaller battlefield area. ur movement to enemy base are limited to entrance....etc....
