omg...really..they can do that??

i wish they will capture all my contacts detail anytime they wish also it would be better everytime i've switching to new device i would NEVER needed to restore all those backups and all contacts and history can auto retrieve back from those online server... think of it the backup activities really a dumb thing that exist and hard labour to maintain it all the time... yawn.gif

i mean, since i bought galaxy note, i haven't once fully charge it to 100% so i cant estimate the time for galaxy note to fully charge either using AC or USB
*
using AC charging... u will get ~24% per hour... as the rating on the AC charger is 1000mA for idealy in 100% efficiency 0%-100% for our 2500mAH battery should take 2.5 hours but in real world the efficiency won't be >80% so you'll need >3 hours to fully charge the phone also during end of charging cycle the charging current will be lower so if you fully depleted the phone you can expect it will be fully charge complete in 4 hours... nod.gif

i know, but that's what happen today. didnt have time to charge it back at home, so i charge it using USB in the office.
just bought galaxy note for a week, thats why i come here (lowyat forum) to read more about this device.

Remember!! Lithium-ion battery MUST always keep charged, the capacity of the battery will be reduced if it been depleted too much... icon_idea.gif

i'd suggest u to use this apps
https://market.android.com/details?id=ccc71.bmw&hl=en

able to see the graphs, estimation of battery usage/charge... kinda accurate, but the mA values, dont think that its very accurate, i read somewhere before about this feature that samsung didnt support mA return value, only htc one...
*
galaxy note won't report it's current consumption... so the mA will always "0" doh.gif

i thought that galaxy note battery is among the best, so it should be ok if i charge it like once in 2 days? or is it not possible at all?
*
from my experience the Note are very long lasting if u just use it as normal phone (where just receive/call/sms not that frequent)... the average current consumption ~75mAH is with all your BT/GPS/Wifi/3G set to ON/Standby mode, so you will see if your phone idling in Standby you will lose ~3% per hour of the battery juice, and it can last you >30 hours of ACTIVE standby mode, this standby time is FAR MORE longer compare with ALL smartphone out there... thumbup.gif

but when it come into active using the Note, then you will find it deplete the battery very fast, from my experience the Note when using 3G surfing/browsing only will last you 4 hours MAX which mean 3G surfing/browsing use ~700mAH, and if u really wanna extent the battery life during 3G surfing I would suggest turn down the brightness and better if you change to use DARK THEME where the default browser b/g using BLACK instead of white... this is because the AMOLED use LOTS of energy to display white color... icon_rolleyes.gif
