i'm new to android and proud owner of Samsung Galaxy Note and my wife too... ...i'm ex-nokia symbian phone...

Just a question about this galaxy note (my wife unit) seems to hang while playing game and sometime it hang by itself. My unit is not having any issue while doing everything. But the other i switch her maxis simcard to my digi simcard...seems no more hang...could it be the maxis simcard something wrong... anyone face this problem b4?

but i've never turn on maxis data ... only on the wifi only...

i heard the u mobile internet is very cheap but works good in klang valley only

so what's antivirus you guys install in ur note? any recommendation?

where can i get the capdase car charger and how much? thx

is there a way that i can plug my portable hdd into g.note so that i watch movie store in my hdd? i was told by the samsung salesman that it can only support thumbdrive ...hdd can't....just wondering if its possible.

anyone facing this problem like me??...g.note is std no root but when connect to kies via usb cable it say need to update some firmware management and need to close kies then download screen appear then after complete i press ok then kies open back...again i get the pop up need to download unless i cancel it...

seems my version is the latest Kies_2.2.0.12014_18_8.....

bah i know what is the issue...its my company's firewall that block something...funny that it completed download the update as stated...

after been using my SGN for few weeks i would say the battery is really good with such big screen.

From my experience, 7.15am unplug from adapter (100%) then with on and off gaming ie drawsomething,airport city,some shooting games, viber,whatsapp,fb, take a few calls, sms then walla battery flat out around 9-10pm.

This week i've been bz without much gaming, prolly on and off for couple of minutes here and there with wifi connected when in office and at home but shut the wifi 12am coz go to sleep + receive some call + whatsapp...seems can last me 2.5 days with single charge....very good i would say.

yep i was surprise myself...maybe sometimes its due to isp line condition also...if the line just from 3.5g-3g-2g occasionally then i think makan a bit battery from there also...lucky my house and office all full bar de. oh yea, maybe my battery still new so can last that long gua....i put on auto brightness so i think its better there.


Shenay :- hmm that i really don't know...coz its like on and off 5 min here, 15 min there, then at home prolly 30min here and there...well i think should be close to 5-6hrs...i guess...erm duno there is an apps to calculate my gaming time or not....hehehe

just wondering if official ICS comes out and i can download and update my SGN via Samsung Kies...does that means all my data in the phone is gone ie phone contact, photos in phone, sms, whatsapp data, viber data, etc on the phone???
