I felt that the wifi signal and digi signal kinda weak. does the modem govern the wifi too? my wifi modem just 20m around me but i can't get full bar signal. ok will look up for the mist modem that you mentioned.

Are there anyone here using JKay Mod's CRT on/off settings? my screen would become upside down when the crt effect is in transition. Is it just me or everyone is having this as well? It's not a problem but it just felt weird that the screen would be upside down. I'm on JKay Deluxe v13.6.1 for XXLB1.

And I repeat extract the zip file to tar level and use mobile odin to flash it

There is no other kernel available that can be used on the ICS rocket or any other ICS rom. AngeloM has develop one but caused many phones to brick. I tested his ver 1.1 but it was unsatisfactory at the menu - erratic performance  , luckily didn't brick mine
Abyss 4.2 is just to be used to flash and not to use for the ICS rom. If you flash this on the ICS rom, the phone will failed to reboot and you will get weird noises after the Samsung logo has boot up - I have tested it just for fun . To reboot back the phone on ICS rom,. I have to flash back the original Chinese leak LP1 kernel

Franco kernel works very well on the G Nexus but not on the G note. I took it down after an hour testing it as I find it causes instability to the recovery mode
Abyss Kernel 4.2 is very stable and I was using it on my previous Gingerbread LB1 build

if monthly bill for calls above 150 i recommend celcom biz plan p148, phone price is rm1530 for 2 years contract... monthly commitment rm148 to offset call charges at 10sen per minute, free 3G data 5GB.. and credit card monthly debit got 5% rebate..

maxis sucks plan so expensive nowadays summore extra data charge kau2, digi coverage so-so only..

i feel celcom monthly commitment high also.. anyone here been tried U mobile?

penang oni 2g.. coverage i think is the poorest.. so celcom or maxis oni i can choose edy.. may i know u r the agent or u also celcom user?

hmmm... i'm running abyssnote 4.2 kernel. temperature quite ok i would say. when i'm using it to surf net, whatsapp, talkbox, call... temp is around 32°c - 36°c. while charging the temp would be around 38°c - 42°c. using while charging can go up to 48°c - 50°c. when phone in sleep mode and not using for awhile temp can drop till 26°c - 28°c. the temperature of surrounding areas will also affect the phone temperature.

yes that was exactly the problem i'm having when on franco.kernel #8.

I want to ask..if using rocket rom how do we modified the ascending ringtone?can we take the apk from the check rom and install it with rocket rom because in checkrom there is already modified the ascending tone..thanx in advance..
