Lotus Note does not integrate well with much of anything outside Domino. I think you need to install Notes Traveller.

Few posts back someone said to turn off USB debugging. That worked for me with Kies 2.2.0.12014_18 from Samsung MY site.
However, Kies is HORRIBLY SLOW..........

Use MyPhoneExplorer - it has a PC client and an Android App. Works with most Android phones, great for backup, call handling, etc etc like Nokia Suite.

There are 2 ways of doing this.

Hardcore:
Root and enable RW for /system/media/audio/ui
Rename the files camera*.ogg to camera*.bak or something. TOTALLY NO MORE camera sounds.

Less hardcore:
Use Substancer's LA6 tweaked ROM. On silent mode, it does not have the click sound.
