Mr Benny and other Sifus pardon me , I'm sure this issue has already been discussed before - "Galaxy note battery life"
I'm new to Android and smartphones. I bought my S.Note few days ago. I find I have to charge battery every 24 hrs !. SA said on the first day I don't have to charge the battery because the battery come with already 50 -60 % charged. Is this true?
My average use a day is around 2hrs, checking Emails, few phone calls and SMS, surfing net. I don't play games. Is charging every 24 hrs normal for a new battery?
Any suggestions on how to increase the battery life?
TQ

I am not encyclopedia . The first thing which I always do before buying any smartphone/tablet/Mac  is to download and read the manual first . So by the time I get the phone I already know most of the stuffs on how to use it
You will be surprised many stuffs /features you did not know exist. It is a simple step , anyone can do it but I find most users do not bother and prefer to be spoonfeed everytime they have any issue when most of the time answers are already in the manual
You can easily download the manual here:

Thank You Mr.Benny. This is the mannual I was looking for. Surprisingly I did not find the manual in the box when I bought SGN.

I also noticed recently my phone screen brightness gets dimmer sometimes by itself. Why does this happen?. My "automatic brightness " box in the settings remains unticked.

TQ

I think the "auto adjust screen power" that cause this. U can find it in display setting.

Will switching off 3G when not in use help to save battery?
