What " play " ; just restore back all your apps from Titanium backup. I hope you have done such a backup first
Any apps that is not restored , just browse down the list and tap on those crossed out and restore it

That's the silliest thing i've heard lol. Backing up meant copying & pasting it to another folder in your Note. It's not like it's gonna store all data in the RAM. so why would it suck your battery life?

Because i have the same problem too when flashing to Substancer's rom. If i'm not mistaken substancer uses franco's kernel. All you need to do is flash to AbyssNote 4.2 and then your CWM will reappear. Be sure to wipe cache partition and dalvik cache before flashing to AbyssNote.

Just Google for it in forum xda the CWM apk or Google for it

To change the modem, you have to download the modem file and flash it through cwm recovery. download your modem file from here:

if you feel that the LB1 reception is not that good then you can try ZCLP1. i'm using it and it's better then LB1 imho. you don't need to wipe anything when flashing modem. but it is recommended to wipe cache and wipe dalvik if you intended to flash new kernel.

When a user tell you he is using it why query again. There is no such thing ics based modem cannot be used on gb or even gb modem can also be used on ics roms too
