2mbps will be better..
Unless u got a hardware that can do load balancing, then only u choose 2 X 1mbps cos its cheaper.. |

I'll go for 2x1Mbps anytime and hook them up on a load balancer. Why?
1. Can handle more session. Good for P2P softwares. 2. Redundancy. 1 down, there's one more. You're a heavy user so you'll need that. 3. Lower cost in the long run. |

yes , btw..load balance..i'm not sure if you can combine two lines..but , you can use the 2nd one just incase the first one is packed or down..this way network gets routed to the 2nd line....

Well...depends on how fast the lines are running. The rated speed may be 1Mbps or 2 Mbps but it is not likely that they can actually reach that kind of speed.

1x 2Mbps SDSL will be better.IMO , you get a new gateway , etc....Not like the standard home....Thus , if anything happens to TmNut backbone , home users are first to suffer , for you..SDSL will contiune to work (maybe at a slower speed)

How bout you get 2 routers..? Then use 2 X 2mbps SDSL.. Every 15PC gets a 2mbps SDSL.. This is gonna be great..
*That is if TMNet is not having a bad hair day |

1x2Mbps is better , IMO...as i said , if you do load balancce , you would not get full 2Mbps..its just going to be like this
if Line 1 is being used at 100% , other pcs will use line 2 , but still the speed is at 1Mbps... You would have two 1Mbps line , but not a 2Mbps line |

but dlink said "the total available bandwidth doubles in capacity and therefore provides a tremendous increase in network efficiency and user productivity".
means can speed up the speed ? |

please realise that with 2x1mbps line you won't be getting 2x speed when downloading a file from a single source unless there is a software to "split" the file and download parts, there is also a need for software/hardware to manage 2 lines

You will need a software like Free Download Manager or something else that offers multiple connection to a single host to download a single file in order to utilise a Load Balancer's capability... if you're using IE's own download software, it'll only utilise 1 line because it's only one connection to the host. As for me, i don't think i'll need a 2Mbps line for surfing and online games, it's an overkill. I'd rather have dual lines for redundancy reasons.

If you are using it for cyber cafe and u use home package, not sure wat TMNet will do but they already informed that it is not allowed..
If ur gonna open cyber cafe with 30 PCs.. Maybe get two 2mbps line.. Then u get 2 router and split the 30 PCs into 15 and 15.. So each 15 PC will have their own 2mbps line.. |

LoL... Like what prasys said, the RM148 SOHO package uses same gateway as the home users.. Meaning there is high chances that the connection will be bad for example lag, dc and stuff... So the choice is up to you..

1X2 SDSL..trust me , TMnuts SDSLL is much more better..I have tested it out...Trust me , its better then the standard ADSL Service they provide...It seems they got some other route too....and pings are still low too
If you want your customers to complain , slow internet..B.net lags out , then go ahead and go with 2x1Mbps..Normally CCs , they use SDSL...Some only use ADSL (because can't get service)....I would always go for SDSL..Since gamers need upload..upload is important for all gamers and latency.. |

Well, if u can't get the SDSL, the business package would do also... It is still better than those home and SOHO package..
