Finally, I'm experiencing this weird sound and I've researched on the Internet and it seems several people are having similar issues. I read some comments before I purchased my car and I was kinda aware of this problem and recently I'm hearing it as well.

This is quite disturbing as I do not hope it has anything to do with the engine components.

That is what I have been experiencing for quite some time. It's really annoying especially when you are caught in a traffic jam. I've reported (and went to service centre) this matter and according to them (one service personal attended to me), it is something to do with the switch. And it seems like it is known problem which they have not found any solution to it. 

Has anybody managed to fix the annoying 'kluk kluk kluk' sound?

Maybe you could try ask the member that got it fixed. Not sure about his LYN ID. But you can look for him in the FB Group. Named Darryl Chuah
