Hi,

Recently, My Perodua Myvi receives CHECK ENGINE light. I wonder if faulty O2 sensor is the culprit. Need your advise as I'm planning to go to Perodua SC for diagnostic.
*
it could mean a lot of other potential fault, so the best is to send it back to perodua SC for them to do a diagnostic.

Keep your RPM low...less than 4k. Don't even reach RED LINE.  smile.gif
*
actually not recommended to stay at a specific rpm for too long. Better if it is mixed, menaing some spirited driving and some cruising speed driving. vary the rpm along the journey.

Agreed. But during a long journey, especially when you are taking highways, it is very hard to vary the speed. That's the only problem..
*
how hard can it be

My 2 and half hour journey to Ipoh, max speed I went is 170kph, min speed is 10kph.

Guys just wanna update the latest photo upgraded to 16 in rims...

and because of increase rim size there was a lag in power an pick up and of course FC.... cry.gif
Then I came across this...... drool.gif

http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=1470760&hl=

after installation...... the pick up...... rclxm9.gif

and of course the FC  flex.gif
But all in all only problem is.... warranty now is..................... rclxub.gif

because of the wiring requirement so for those of you who got the B*%%$ like my wife to forsake the warranty.....
BAM BAM BAM.......this is the way to go ...
*
lol, after installing that of coz pick up increase lah, it alters the level of throttle opening only. Your FC will soon be shooting skywards.

I have done the same trick using only this;

gear change is delayed because the TCU detected large amount of throttle, aka "spirited driving mode"

Added on March 27, 2012, 11:06 amFC is the least of my concern.

how to fix dat?
*
lower down the level of throttle opening.

these type of throttle controlling thing has its gain and losses. Often it always correlates.

If you want FC, then you'll lose the "response". If you want "response", the FC goes south.

use gud quality 1, 3M
*
sorry for the late reply;

like that lim fellow said, pakailah 3M. not only easy to stick, its has superb bonding effect too and not to mention very friendly toward creases.

Kalau butthurt 3M mahal sangat, can buy Oracal. Kalau Oracal still mahal sangat, go those advertising shop and buy their normal one.

Anyone know the new location for the PJ Perodua service centre?

Need some guide to go there.  icon_question.gif

I know last time it was at Sec 19, now move to Jalan U, I manage to get the add at Perodua website.

Perodua Service Centre (Petaling Jaya)
No.76, Jalan University, Seksyen 13, 46300, Petaling Jaya, Selangor

I just know Jalan U got 1 KFC, is it nearby there?
*
further down. Its actually next to the Mitsuoka showroom. If you're at Federal Highway heading towards Shah Alam/Klang, take the Jalan Universiti exit. At the junction, turn right. The service center should be on your left hand side. There's a big Perodua banner hung on the gate.

if you guys windscreen has small crack or hairline crack, just touch it up. Don't ever replace the windscreen just because of these tiny eyesores. You might put your lives in jeopardy.
