Nokia have heavy advertising not just in Malaysia, it's worldwide.. they have allocated a huge sum for marketing for their current and upcoming phones.. so yea, that's why you see Nokia ads everywhere =)

For now, yes but in the long-run, not really. Right now they're trying to muscle their way through an already packed smartphone market with strong competitors such as Samsung and Apple, thus the heavy marketing on their windows phone which if I might add, is designed based around the N9(which runs on meego,a project they abandoned)..so yea, unless Nokia can really provide the market with something that really catches the eyes of phone-users, they'll still be lagging behind
