Others :

Eclipse : he left out Mobile Network settings/APN settings and messages app in rom. Messages can install separatelt by putting apk in /system/app and restart phone. But without APN settings, you cannot manually change the APN settings if such need arise. But Tab can still auto detect and set the APN

CyanogenMod9 : Laggy and important stuffs missing - Bluetooth, Camera, Hardware-accelerated video, USB Gadget functionality (i.e. interacting with your computer). faced several apps Force Closure using it

thanks uncle benny,

have few more questions,

1st-how do I going to do full wipe for my device?

"4. A Full data/factory reset is REQUIRED for this version if you are coming from a non XXLA4-based rom, and is highly recommended in any case!! Please do not post "bugs" in the thread unless you have performed a data wipe. Thanks. "Quote from the site.

2nd-Do I need to DL this ?

"Lockscreen Fix for XXLA4-based ROMs Only

Please make a backup before you flash in CWM Recovery, thanks.

Full wipe : either at settings/privacy / factory data reset or boot into recovery mode : select wipe data . Doing it at recovery mode is better since at same time you need to wipe all caches before selcting to flash the rom zip file

Lockscreenfix - up to you ; I didn't bother - no issue with lockscreen

Launcher - i didn't bother as I use ADW launcher EX

REMEMBER : ALWAYS do first a backup of your present rom at RECOVERY mode before flashing any new rom. Just in case your flash goes bad and cannot reboot - boot back to recovery and restore your backup
Rebooting of the Tab after flash can take up to 5 - 8 mins ; be patient and wait - don't do anything and just wait. If still fail to reboot after say more than 15 mins - than switch off tab and boot to recovery mode : wipe data , and all caches again , reboot tab

For that price you need to commit to the RM88 plan for 24 months. Or you can choose their easy payment aka installment plan for RM131.70 for 24 months which binds together the tablet with its RM88 plan.

I got my tab less than a month ago and seems like its starting to lag a little especially when reading The Star ePaper. It lags very badly when I try to zoom, flip, and move the page around. I've already cleared my RAM and closed any opened apps but it still happens. Anyway for me to find out whats causing it or how to fix it?

Well if you plan to stick to DiGi for 2 years then is quite affordable. Otherwise just get the tablet from retail (they may charge additional 4-5% extra for installment) and subscribe to U Mobile if you want cheap plan. smile.gif
