That's because you were in New Yoirk when you register your account. Won't work here. Tried already. But maybe can use a proxy to fake US IP address and then register at amazon.com. Those interested can try and post the result here...

Depends on the file types. Some format can support HW decoding others can't. But frankly, even with SW decoding, it is very smooth on my SGS2..(Tab 7.7 should be faster since it has better CPU/GPU than my i9100G)....no issues at all. Can't tell HW/SW decoding unless i look at the indicators.

just drop by into this thread to scout for some info....in the market for a tablet, initially thought of iPad2 due to its reduced price....then stumble across SGT 7.7 and played around with it....admittedly, not as smooth as iPad, but no complains....:-)
SGT 7.7's advantage for me is the GSM capability, can be my backup phone if my main phone has problems....i have a Digi SIM lying around, so there will be no extra outlay for additional line charges if i wanna use 3G devices....i think the selling point for me is the size....not too big, not too small, just nice....iPad is a little bit too big, becomes cumbersome....
for iPad, it's more for the smoothness and the price is a deal-breaker...sigh, decisions decision!
flash is not a priority for me, as i can live without it....maybe i'll just end up getting none of the above....haha!
just posting here to see any of u guys' feedback / comments (if any) that might change my mind....dun wanna create another thread asking "SGT 7,7 or iPad2"...although, i realize by coming into SGT 7.7 thread and asking this question, for sure i'll get some pro-SGT 7.7 answers....haha....
Depends on your usage lar....for my wife she chose tab 7.7....because she needs to work and transfer files a lot via bluetooth....(Apple failed) and it's much more lighter....believe me...carrying an Ipad around is bulky and troublesome. Especially if you need to hold it for extend period..hands also tired...screen also >>>> ipad2. Ipad2 looks blurry and horrible. Tab 7.7 is so sharp.
And it is still the world's only tablet with Super AMOLED Plus.
