Hi guys, this is just a simple build from unused parts after tear down of Titanium MK II. Titanium MK II had shifted to TJ 07, so I'm gonna use remaining parts to build a simple system to hook up HDTV for HD contents, normal internet surfing only, so don't expect super duper fuper high ends jaw dropping parts =)).

Aim here of course, make everything aesthetically pleasing (try my best tongue.gif ), so simplicity will be the code here !

and well, if you are wondering how my TJ07 looks like, here it is, bt not much photos, didnt fully complete yet =) :

zzZz, enough of those out topic stuff, I'm here for lian li damn it ~

Ok first off, gonna start with the motherboard, most of the parts are not yet decide, so gonna update as i proceed:

First thing first, i did complete some small motherboard mod, well if it counted as one though----> capacitors CLEANING ! !

took me like 6 hours sweat.gif , tools & materials: ACETONE, cotton buds / cotton .. . .

and oh, i did clean off the white printed EVGA wording on the heatsink, well the white coloured word goes off, but it the word still existed on heat sink when light shines off it, kinda like stealth words =D and i think i m gonna leave it be =)

and here are the results:

The fans will be secure by screws the same way it does like when it's original. So there wun be any vibration. For fan performance, I m not sure how it will affect, the fan attached to the rotor, the rotor did not encounter any mod. Well if u said the reduction in performance is due to cutting of the casing, well there is a possibility, but from my perspective, I dont think it will show any obvious decrement in performance. Just my opinion though=D

Originally i was intend to remove only the stickers, and use the ori nvidia gts 450 wihtout stickers of any brand, however, acetone had someone spoiled the finishing of the plastic cover, am forced to paint it mad.gif Meanly, i also cleaned everything before painting as this is an used graphic card.

Well, the result turn out to be ok, its abit hard to paint some part while leaving others totally unaffected. here are the results:

regarding cutting the fan out. the fan will be losing efficiency if it is pushing air though a heatsink or other fin type devices since the part that TS cut acts like a duct or shroud to redirect air straight forward. but seeing he is only using it as an exhaust fan the efficiency shouldn't have drop much.

no prob, everyone started with 0 knowledge and gradually learn. don afraid to ask smile.gif

FYI, err molex its a type of connector. u can open the psu, as well as de-pin the cable from connector, den u put the sleeve in, then u apply heat shrink near the pin, as well as the end of wire being soldered in the psu (dont worry, when u close the psu cover, everything will be hide inside, leaving nicely sleeve cable. NExt, put the pin inside back to the connector, done. one word of advice, u might encounter problem in closing psu cover, as the sleeve increase volume of cable. u i would advice make the cable output hole by dremelling. or u could try cutting off unused cable, den heatsrink the cut-ed area. that will yield the best result.

If u are afraid of voiding warranty, u can sleeve without opening the psu cover, bt result wont be as nice though. u will see uneven heatsrink at the psu output hole. to solve that, u can buy extra large heatsrink at ACE hardware, which enclosed all the uneven heat srink, will look nicer and still keeping warranty .
