Pleasant day to all, I am new into ICE and actually made some mistakes(my own mistake for rushing in making decision) in purchasing my current HU and component set. Before i seek for advise maybe i intro to everyone what is currently installed in my car.
HU : Kenwood KDC-U453 Component set : ALPINE Type-G Dominations D'LITE ZlimmerBoomers 12 Slim Subs(im fine with this) RF Monoblock amp(im fine with this too)
Oh and btw im using a 2CH kenwood Amp(no idea what model but its a small amp with red triangle light in the middle) to drive the component set.
So guys, im actually looking forward to a descent sound, which currently this combination is not giving me. So i intend to upgrade my HU and component set.
For HU, some local dealers recommend me to use ALPINE CDA-117, and also some bros said Pioneer P80RS2. Im quite lost, can someone pls advice which one should i go for? Of course im looking forward to get a HU with Built in Crossover and must have TA function.
Im considering three brands for my component set i. Morel Maximo/tempo ii. Dominations Dlite iii. Focal polyglass 165VRS
The reason im seeking advice is, already spent alot getting the results that is far from my expectations. I wish that this future investment will work out fine. So to all bros, please help give me some advise. Thanks alot...
Regards, J73

1. The 3 speakers, I would choose Tempo. 2. Would suggest a better amp for component too. But this can wait until you have more budget. 3. HU wise, I would prefer Pioneer P80RSII.

Thanks for your kind advice bro... Morel is nice on their vocal. Tempo performs better than Maximo. Once you feed it with more juice, then it will perform much better. I'm currently assuming that your Kenwood is providing just enough juice. If Tempo is within your budget, then try and explore other brands as well which is sitting inside the same category.
