Yeah I saw them in the shop but not it's not Symbian 3 lah, RAM also less, camera 3.2 MP only. Design ugly. Of course cheaper, less than RM500.
Never mind, Nokia Board of Directors want to follow Microsoft by the nose, remaining users just jump ship when the time comes. Microsoft wouldnt bother much, they still have their profitable software business, Nokia is the one to die

No need explain why 808 run on Symbian, it's camera which can make calls, sms, use internet, good enough liao. Use WP, must pay this royalty & that royalty, endure this & that restriction. The main thing is the camera. If they not convinced, ask them go buy a camera with similar function, then buy a phone that can online, see how much it cost...settle.

I somewhat agree that Nokia is like a puppet to Microsoft..can't imagine if Microsoft pulls-out all of a sudden, Nokia's entire operation/business will be hanging by a thread..symbian is one thing, but Nokia should also pursue other OS and not really fully rely on MS..

Guys, saw someone letting go of their N()brand new) but it was bought in Australia and the warranty is Nokia Australia..so, it's not valid in Malaysia right?

As in.. the warranty isn't usable in Malaysia?

Warranty wise I think you can try the local service centre. They may still honour it even though it was bought in Australia. Actually I've never been asked to produce warranty card or proof of purchase by our Nokia Care.

The most critical period is the first few months. After that there is minimal risk that something will get defective. Still worth buying if the price is cheap.
*
Not really cheap, if I remember correctly at RM1,499, the TS is still in Aussie at the moment and will only be back after 18th March..can't remember if the TS stated 16/64Gb, but its cyan color..
By the way, there was another one letting go a Brand New Cyan N9 for only 1,000.. with full 1-year M'sia warranty..too good to be true? hmm.gif

QUOTE(Andy214 @ Mar 14 2012, 11:15 AM)
How much is it?

If it same or more expensive than AP set? If yes, better get AP set as there will be warranty.
Just FYI, AP set is original, Zitron or Avaxx set should be called Authorized set/unit. All are original.
*
The TS is letting it go for 1,499 but no mention of whether its 16 or 64GB.

If it is Cyan it should be 16GB. 64GB N9 comes only in Black or White at the moment.

RM1499 is almost the price for a new 16GB N9 so this is going to be a tough sell
*
Oh mai! The white N9 is currently available in local stores?

TS? LoL  tongue.gif

Anyway, As Kenny mentioned, it's 16GB.
RM1,499 is hard to sell especially one can get AP Unit.

Anyway, the one letting go at 1K, is possible but need to becareful if there is any problem or stolen unit.

Only, it's currently only in SG, Nokia SG even posted about it today since today is the "White" day in Japan.

doh.gif my bad, as in the seller and not this thread's TS (no offence intended tongue.gif )

Impossible to sell. I saw Court selling for RM1500 so why take risk?
*
This I can understand, and totally agree thumbup.gif

QUOTE(eaglehelang @ Mar 14 2012, 01:52 PM)
shortform got many meaning. For me, TS means tournament software.com.
RM1,499, better you get new one from shop 16GB, just pay RM100 to 200 more,Msia warranty.
*
Kinda waiting for the market price to drop/dip below the 1,500 barrier.. with Lumia coming in full force, kinda think the N9 will be hard to sell, especially to those who don't know much about its unique UI..

QUOTE(arsaa @ Mar 14 2012, 02:32 PM)
or maybe you just get mine....confirm in superb working condition and 64gb with malaysia warranty somemore....hahha

Since N9 and L800 has 8-meg camera, which one is better at taking photographs,or are they both the same in term of quality and functionality(as in, auto-focus wise)?

Can someone tell me the difference(for the screen/protector) between L800's Nokia ClearBlack display and N9's Anti-glare polariser?

And I remember many pages back, you guys touched on the radio functionality for N9 - has there been an app/update that offers N9 to receive and play the radio?

btw still no white N9? this is sad

White N9 thumbup.gif

And guys, I know Lumia900 and N9 no connection, but it's a phone from nokia, if people were to get L900 - N9 will have slower sales, harder to sell if the price doesn't drop a little bit. Not to mention Nokia is going all out to promote the Lumia series, so N9 should see a steady decline in price this as more Nokia-windows phone releases..no? hmm.gif

After reading such debates.. I have an eerie feeling that Nokia will "revisit" Meego and progress even further from there on rather than the current partnership with microsoft.. just a feeling...

If he gets an N9 he can run 2 OS - MeeGo and Android. Why choose one when you can have both? A wise choice.

few things to check if you wanna identify a real or fake.

1st is to make sure there is a warranty sticker by the following distributor
Arista, avaxx or zitron

2nd go to a nearest nokia store play with the real phone then test the unit sold at the shop the difference in the user interface , responsiveness is very obvious for a fake one.

always sifu aspire always smile.gif Any weekend I go to a mall, I'll definitely drop-in to the Nokia Store available and check out the phones and the prices, no doubt I'll be playing around with the phones there laugh.gif

Let's just hope the Nokia Sales @ Digital Mall is worth the visit later smile.gif didn't go during lunch..went out with colleagues to makan whistling.gif
