PR1.2 has no video call, only SUPPORT for video calls. Hope some third parties like Peregrine or Skype implement video calls soon.

Ok then, Yahoo! it.

Basically, Flashing is like clean install instead of update, that's why it need the full file and why you loose everything.

Basically if you download from Navifirm or use Nokia Software Updater (NSU), you'll be downloading a big file for the whole OS. Usually it's 1GB++. Flashing by Navifirm as mentioned by Andy is clean install, meaning everything gets wiped out. So u have to restore & download back stuff. I'm not sure of NSU method is exactly the same since I never tried it yet.

Update by OTA is much smaller, 200mb++, and doesn't touch your user files/settings.

So which one you prefer? biggrin.gif

thanks for your and andy explanation. its clear. before this i update PR1.1 used NSU as guide by sifu aspire..i think use NSU is the same like navifirm...NSU also download a big file i think. and all installed apps was lost have to install again. so thats why we called it flash...

Your idle consumption must be high. This bug exists in both PR1.1 and PR1.0 and can be corrected by killing a process in terminal. I think the bug is already fixed in PR1.2.
