not so difficult. Apply the Yes 4g, modify power supply of the modem and hide the modem it in your car.

The only problem is we only have 1 12V receptacle port...if i use a usb port hub to branch out dunno the devices will be badly affected cuz i know the 12V power coming out is not stable as well due to our car load....sommore when use to charge the tablet + modem + mobile phones... |

the Modem of MIFI cost around RM300. inside the batt can last 4-5hrs usage after full charge.
Is better to give RM5000 discount LAGI Best then those 4G... This post has been edited by JackNg1985: Feb 23 2012, 10:25 AM |

QUOTE(turbocharged @ Feb 23 2012, 10:22 AM) i think the most power consuming is modem/mifi. Yah...I think if we can somehow use an android device to provide the wireless portion via tethered wifi, that would have saved a lot more power...cos streaming from mifi, tablet/phone consume way way lesser power and somehow hook up this android with a ISP. If you want to access internet while driving, why not use your hand phone 3g? You can get a samsung galaxy tab or galaxy s, connect to the internet and tether as hot spot. Further more, i am not sure but i guess the coverage of 4g is yet to be improved. |

I thought of that too, but 3G is not that stable...especially on highways where it can just switch to GRPS or EDGE without warning.Further more, i am not sure but i guess the coverage of 4g is yet to be improved. 1. Anyway I don't have data plan |
