Anyhow at 300 can get quite good single malt stuff already, 15 or 18 years. Go for bowmore, maccalan or glenmorangie. Good for starting out. Or for less exp but still want malt whisky, go for glenfiddich. Or just ask reech man metoo,he pro.

Before anyone say anything, all these information was found through Google.

Er... Islay... i think these 3 brands easier to find in KLIA
Laphroaig, Ardbeg, Bowmore

I'm not joking, I just saw at the airport only, 633. Black is 118, double black is 133. Of course I accidently glanced at these prices while reaching out for a bottle of red label, which only poor souls like me can afford.

Please don't add soft drinks to single malts...drink it neat with some ice. Try one glass first...slowly drink. Don't race it down...take your time, see if you like the flavour. Many brands out there...but beware of Glennfiddich 12 years...coz it's now being adultrated.
Macallan, Bowmore etc are better ones.
Don't bother about Double Black...it's overrated.

If you don't like whiskey...you can always make some cocktails at home. Try Bacardi Apple with Sprite/7Up with a little bit of Ribena and lots of ice...very refreshing on a hot day. Or you could also try Vodka Orange with Sprite/7Up...crush some mint leaves with lots of ice and enjoyyy.

But then I never liked the house taste of Chivas. Now slowly switching to brandy/cognac already. Seems nicer to drink IMHO.

Have to note that bowmore stands out in the above is cause its islay whiskey... so it have a earthy smokey taste.. like smoked salmon.. so not eveyrone liek it.

Drink neat or on the rocks. Or u can be a girl and drink with water/sprite etc
