its the first time i tried to code the whole layout without using layout view.. it was coded in notepad.. though i stated the css file's valid.. actually,its not...lol

Quite nice... clean and corporate looking... your logo's missing though... haha..

Anyway, I don' really like the horizontal thing u use to sepearte blog posts. Another thing is your sidebar, having a list of previous months doesn' really attract interest. Common things to show are categories and recent blog posts.

Just my 2 cents..

actually the design was for my upcoming website using wordpress as platform..
and the design was heavily inspired by alvinwoon's blog design..

I've no issue with the thick seperators..

But I do have an issue with the header. You need to put something there because it's like a stop without the sign.

I'd also advise having alil more on the left. Maybe a short profile or even linked thumbnails of your portfolio.

can someone help me ? i'm still having problem with the padding and border for my images... (IE does not display them)

there's nothing wrong i think but IE won't show them..

I tried you code, work fine in my file. So I would think that there a conflict in IE which trying to read your CSS.
