For lithium type, many sifu said store at 80-70% full. Not 100% full. I guess power tools should be the same too.
Phone still consume power even not ON. So full charge is still ok as it will consume it till empty after long period.
For tools, full charge and run for few minute. Than takeout the battery for separate store.
