BUMP this post up.

Got myself an IKEA cordless drill. RM 149, enough for light work. I even use it to take down one door and do some adjustment. Torque wise so so, but enough to do basic things. But is light 1.4KG
*
I remember got 2 types, 1 big and another smaller one.
I cant find the price tag, so not sure which one you bought.

I got myself a china brand SDC, 27Nm only doh.gif , Li-Ion battery powered, I am loving it. thumbup.gif
Cheap and satisfied. icon_rolleyes.gif

A typical cordless drill for screw or some small drilling job, 100N torque should be enough. That enough to twist your hand if you don't hold it strong.

Get those torque adjustable. Pretty common now I guess.

I see those cordless type mainly the price fall on the type of battery. Lion type and big capacity is the most expensive.

I am using a 27Nm only china brand.
Cant imaging how powerful a 100Nm driver. drool.gif

100N is not strong. That is only 10kg force. 30Nm is only enough for me to tighthen a SS bolt to the panel. And 100N is good for drilling.

I m using this --> https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2234276/+40
*
Ya, I use my 27Nm for screw driving only. for wood, still need to use hand force to make sure it is real tight.
Bought this one to eliminate the need of consistent changing of drill bits and screw head.
I work mainly on wood, the 1998 carefour drill is for drilling, hand held and drill press mount.

don't worry, i have researched in depth before i jump into buying this. Europe they called Worx , in USA they call Rockwell. Although , it's not one of the popular one in USA like Kennedy or Dewalt. This brand seems like catching up. I do like Bosch but most of their latest models were sold at high price here and some models not even on the shelf. The Worx have all the latest features which Bosch also have in USA but im not sure if WORX is the first in 3 in 1 Drill.
*
I might get a Rockwell orbitual sander. drool.gif

No more sander. Just use hand. Anyway seldom use now.

Another problem is, the center screw that tight the round circular always loose out. Cause it cannot turn but the motor keep running. No more bosch orbiting sander for me.
*

For RM 670, this stuff really look cooler than you think.
it catches some attention as well. the charger with big red Led light on the charger when charge and green when done.
the box is some kind of futuristic laser gun case by Arnold Shwarzenneger in total Recall.. kidding.

o.k. let me take some pic, so show mine also. rclxms.gif

QUOTE(wildrestark @ Aug 29 2013, 06:23 PM)
See this planer!  What i hate about it is that i can't get the waste bag. I was planing that day at the back of my house and not realizing that i have put a mess everywhere on the grass and concrete. I don't want to dirty the place fearing that the neighbour will complaint my activity. I spent almost like 40 minutes sweeping all the dust and wood waste so I called up Bosch Malaysia and they refered me to a CT hardware main distributor. Luckily my instinct told  me to call first before i hopped onto my vehicle, if not i will be disappointed. The answer to this... Bosch doesn't bring this in. So , what shall i do now, i look at the insert and it's quite difficult to improvised especially the holder. I thought of getting the washing machine clip and clipping a plastic bag or recycle bag but the side won't allow the clipping due to lack of holder space.. I guess i have to check with our forum friend from Bosch... Hope he has it.

Another alternative is to get a PVC pipe to insert into that hole and make it as the clipping source.

you need to DIY to attach to your vacuum cleaner.

Bro H2D, you bought it?

hey, it is quite cheap if compare to US.
But this is for fun only lah, normal screw driving o.k. loh.

yesterday I pick up a wood pallete from road side, wanted to salvage the wood.
there are screws that go through the wood of 4" thick holding it down to aother piece of wood.
I would estimate the screw at about 6" long with big Philip head (normal screw head 4, 5 & 6 not enough, believe we need 8 or 10) wanted to salvage it also.
Ala, it was tightly screwed, I cant even turn it a little bit manually. I wander what is the Nm force needed to unscrew it. rclxub.gif

no la...
this screwdriver for ppl who seldom use, install ikea furniture ok,
single speed it is a bit limited.

if u kenot un screw it, then saw the screw.

this multi tool, i wana get soon...
not makita la... manyak mahal la...
the pallet has about 20 pieces of 6" long screws and I want to salvage it for my future use.
Wander is it worth to try to buy an angled screw driver?
yet again I am afraid I will not able to unscrew it, then wasted my money.

See if I snap the photo tonight and watchable, otherwise tomorrow afternoon.

I can salvage things,
1) the screw
2)the wood, it is 3"X4" and more than 6 foots long, got 2 pieces. and 3 pieces of 3X4 and 2 foots long.
I can use the 3X4 to make the clamp for my router, so that I can table mount it. Most of the nicer router bits can only use in router table.
