Hi tyja, I got those near my house. it comes in a set of 3 sizes as per photo, 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2" (up right one) its around 15-20 if not mistaken. this is normal unbranded one. if thouse branded one i think is quite expensive.

today i when to oxygen, for me their things are quite expensive for sata products, bought 2 flex head from them just to test the prices there, long shot story but felt like kena parang the price. Also i enquire bosch items which end up the quote price is 5-10 higher than the place i get. not sure for makita tho. but the price you get is quite resonable la.

if any one know where to get toptul products (other then wellmac) do let me know as well.

I just published another video clip in YouTube, showing the differences between using impact driver and rotary hammer for screw driving.

As we can see, impact driver is the best choice to drive screws, but, rotary hammer also have POWER to drive long lag bolt with ease.

Enjoy.
Thank you. smile.gif

Another YouTube clip. smile.gif

I tried self drilling screw on aluminum curtain rail bracket. I can reuse a single self drilling screw for several time without any problem. smile.gif

Enjoy.

Tips :
1) Low speed drills more efficiently.
2) Apply force appropriately

Thank you

No, because
1) I don't have proper socket wrench adapter. Currently, I have adapter for socket wrench up to 12mm

2) My impact driver's torque is up to 100Nm. Not enough torque to remove wheel nuts. Typically it needs about 140Nm.

But, I can use it for bicycle repair. smile.gif

BTW the wood log is used for testing, training and experiments. Aaah, and also to 'lepas gian' smile.gif

Nice clips from TD0101F and Torsion Bit, as you can see it doesnt damage your bolt/screw as much as normal bits. Btw its now available in size 85mm & 150mm selling in a pack of 3pcs. Length 110mm is coming soon.

does anyone now what is the minimum specs for cordless drill that can drill masonry as well? Or still need to use the wired type? In carrefour they sell Black and Decker cordless drill for less than RM200. But not sure about whether it can drill masonry as well. The rotation w/o load is 3000rpm. sigh..

Jeffreylam, SATA tools not all item are lifetime warranty like bits.
Also bro how much is the torsion bits, would love to get them all as well.

Jinxxx, if you can source for cheaper SATA tools, i think its not that expensive. SATA tools, price compare to last 3 years have increase very significant already. so need to go to old shop thats have old stock. recently bought a set of SATA impact socket for rm110, whereelse other are selling rm185-220 which i think is very ridiculously expensive.

Other much more expensive tool brand like Elora and Snap on the price lagi heart attack tongue.gif

Also any one know where i can get wolfcraft products? can be in kl also.

next few week going to purchase some power tool again tongue.gif

Added on April 17, 2012, 4:29 pmBro what is your budget like??? As price can diffrentiate alot like the Bosch Cordless Impact Drill GSB 14.4-2 Li can drill up to 10mm in masonry for rm550 or Bosch Cordless Rotary Hammer 2 Modes 36V GBH36V-Li Compact rm1.9k can drill up to 18mm holes in masonry tongue.gif
