KUALA LUMPUR: Yet another woman is now realising the folly of sending her nude pictures to her then boyfriend. He is threatening to share them with the rest of the world.
The man, who works in the IT industry, wants Woon, a 29-year-old business manager, to be his sex slave and has threatened to expose some 80 of her naked pictures via his Facebook account if she refuses.
“I was scared and there was nothing I could do because my future was at stake,” said the divorcee and a mother of two children, aged five and four.
“I came close to killing myself but I didn’t because I don’t want my children to suffer,” added Woon, who has been taking sleeping pills to ease her trauma since the threats began after they broke up last August.
She had met Teh in 2000 but they split three years later. However, they reconciled in May 2010 and continued their relationship because she was convinced Teh was madly in love with her.
She posed in the nude for Teh, who allegedly told Woon that “your body is art”.
“I sent him photos of myself naked in various poses,” she told a press conference called by MCA Public Services and Complaints chairman Datuk Seri Michael Chong here.
“She is one of many who have fallen prey to the sweet words and ugly intentions of boyfriends,” said Chong, adding it was the third case he had dealt with this year.
“This is only the tip of the iceberg,” he claimed, saying most of such victims were in their 20s.
Warning Teh to stop his threats, Chong said: “If you continue, I’ll expose you to the world, beginning with your family.”
He urged other victims who have been suffering in silence to stand up for themselves, be strong and get help.
