Hi guys,
Im using an ASUS A42JV Laptop on windows 7, and it comes with a built in microphone (on the monitor)
as well as a single jack headphone & microphone port.

for some reason i can never get my microphone to work and i think its because i may lack the right audio driver?
also when i plug in a headset (single wired headset like apple iphones handfree set, the microphone doesnt work no matter how i try)
(when i switch on the micrphones volume i hear superloud static)

isit my drivers? anyone know how i can fix this prob?
