hi there.

i need to do some backup for my files and i used MY DVD+R DL to burn them all.

But, the burning was never ended with a smile on my face.

Either the burning stuck at midway or when i tried to read the dvd

Do i need to include VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folder? my caes As far as i know, this is important if u wanna the dvd to be played on dvd player but in my case backupy for my mp3s, videos and pictures.

How about layer break? do i need to setting it correctly and how to that??

BTW, i'm acer aspire 4935g user and using win 7 pro x64

Thanks in advanced guys.

Err...what burning software are you using? video_ts and audio_ts are usually found in dvd's that contains movies (like ones in shops). Have you tried just by drag and drop on the dvd-dl?

For the time being i'm using imgburn and ashampoo burning studio element 10. I did drag and drop the folder but still the burning process either failed (i have to eject the dvd by force) or stuck in midway

I think this has something to do with layer break.

Oh, to be precise i have 2 folder which each containing movies and tried to burned them onto dvd dl

Btw, thank for reply dude

Weird. usually if you are burning files into a disc you wont be getting that video_ts and audio_ts thingy. That usually comes when you want to burn a dvd movie.

nah, there's no video_ts and audio_ts folder to begin with..mayb my words are bit tricky.huhu

i just wanna burns backup of movies and the burning never worked as i expected

so i just wondering, do i need to create video_ts folder and put my backup folder into it and then do the burning process?

Since, using drag and drop never worked for that's why i come up with that idea..

And, also the layer break, how to find the position if i using 2 folders of backup to be burned onto single dvd dl
