my lenovo g470 i5 model led or lcd im not sure cracked earlier today.. may i know the range of repair costing for it? first i heard it was around 150-250...was that correct? where can i get it repair and how long will it take? thank you...need help...

Is it still under warranty?

If it is then just have it sent to the official or authorized service center. If it's a fairy new model it's still better to just inquire Lenovo customer or technical service department.

will they receive my warranty? i dont think so since it was not any device fault..it was my fault..and btw im not sure...the warranty card is at my hometown..

Repair cost = New LCD replacement price

cannot repair only the dead pixels?

min 300 to 500 at pakistani shop,u can get after an hour

if it's internal crack/bleeding you will not be able to fix at anything less than rm250-300.
If external crack only ( means image still comes out fine ) might be able to fix under rm100

Lenovo won't do warranty as this is physical damage by user. Cost will be around RM400+.

why suggesting pakistani? seems 300 above too much..omg..i be broke next month...so overall it will be around 250 to 400++....
hope i can find others below 250 maybe...
and the led lcd replacement only for an hour? ....where can i get the spare parts only and pay someone to replace and fix it...

bro, if ur in kl or selangor area, go to imbi plaza 1st floor.
Look for Viva IT Service located at the end of 1st floor and find Hafiz, a Pakistani. Replacement lcd ranges from 250-300, depending on model and ur negotiation skills. He can replace ur lcd in less than 30 minutes.

I highly recommend this guy.

yes im from keramat...ok i will try..can i say that someone is suggesting him for me? maybe he can lower the price..im not dat good in nego haha...i think this cost range quite good n it will be a bonus if i get it lower because in melaka n perak it will cost me around 400 to 500

Haha, can try also. Say that someone recommends u to go to his shop. Directly go and ask for him cos there are also some other workers there and it might be hard to nego with the other workers.

lol may be not what you're looking for but if you don't mind turning your laptop into an expensive semi desktop just get an external monitor and plug in, use it as desktop! Poor man's solution. Surely you can rip off an old monitor from a family member.

becoz most of them work there,u try to survey and u will notice most of them are pakistani
