Hi, I have a question about tiling labour cost. Let's say in a room, total area for the 4 walls is 600 sqft, but out of that 600 sqft, 100 sqft are windows, door, back of kitchen and etc.

What is the normal practice for the contractor to charge - overall area (600 sqft) or net area (500 sqft)?
