Hi tomjason, im going to renovate my house before i move in, hopefully can start the project early july. I want to change the existing tiles (1 x 1ft) and replace to 2 x 2 ft tiles + skirt for the entire house (approximately 1300sf). It is difficult to do it? i also plan to install plaster ceiling and kicthen cabinet. And if got extra money, i want to extend my kicthen further (28 x 10 ft). please give me the formula n advise me also. thanks ya!!

Tomjason, from fews of your comment, its seem the cost for hacking wall n floor is relatively cheap (i consider below 1k is cheap because i expect more since need to demolish a tough wall n firm floor). is the cost is around that range?

is it normal for syabas meter to have smaller size pipe at the meter n change back to normal size after that? i mean, before the meter, they use 1" or 3/4", at the meter using smaller diameter of the pipe, and after that back to original size.
does it effect water pressure?
forget to take picture. but i saw my neighbour also having the same.

[quote=tomjason,Oct 24 2012, 08:22 AM] hi bro Yamma, those old days rule about 10 years ago SYABAS insisted to use 1/2" and 3/4" before to avoid water pressure drop..but nowadays SYABAS allow to have 1 " pipe before meter. That why recently about 7 months ago i hv change to 1 " stainless steel pipe pipe before the meter....very good water pressure and volume..i love it... just for RM250 only..you cannot get that price..i hv special deal... i mean, on the meter itself. before and after meter, 1 inch. but about half feet before and half feet after the meter including the meter, the pipe is small. is it normal? or i can ask for the meter with 1 inch pipe also?
