PMed you and others that have requested for the formula.
If the sampah from hack wall, its ok. donot have sampah as paper bag cement and wood, these wood will attract termite..also if you fill it with 'sampah' or soil from others place, be caferefull as soil from others places can have termite inside..we never know, beside the side effect i mention before that means you bring termite to your area...cause contractor like to fill with soil as its cheap..

TQ bro.

the GI truss have two type , the C type shape (cost around RM32 per piece )and the V type (cost around RM12)shape....these prices one year ago...the hardware shall know..for the orange pipe..it UPVC Sirim approved type expensive cost about RM77 per pipe, the price one year ago. All these can be found at hardware shop selling material construction.

using rebar instead BRC net steel for your floor is the best....but it is costly and timing cause, need worker to tie the individual rebar...
today tips:
1. attach picture below is my DIY for the kitchen sink pipe outlet. This is the correct way to install the kitchen sink outlet pipe. Please use this type of elbow (using screw) so that when your outlet pipe is blockage with food wastage , you can easily unscrew the elbow and clear the blockage with wire or 'wire ring' that you can buy from hardware shop.

2. From the pic below also, to avoid your food wastage pipe from blockage, use my tips, use at least upvc pipe size 3" or 4" at the last end to man hole, this way your do not have food wastage blockage is future. My design , from the sink, i use upvc sirim approve (thick) size 11/2 ", then goes to upvc pipe size 2", and at last goes under ground upvc pipe size 3" to man hole. Please study the pic in detail.

[Tomjason already deleted the photo attached. Sorry ]...PM me if you want the photo
want more clarification, inform me.

3. For electrical, i would advise to have seperate DB for your house if you are doing reno, such as one DB at living room, one DB at kitchen or one DB at upstair. In this way you can easy manage and easy to troubleshoot in future.

4. If you are doing reno, i would advised you to install power socket and light inside your upper ceilling, And the ceilling power socket and light have switch control from down stair.
want more clarification, inform me.

Hi tomjason,

Would like to ask more about installation of water pump for my new house. Hope you can help beri tunjuk ajar on the piping... From what I understand, the water pump must put after the tangki air, and from there the piping connect back to the house. Can it be installed where I can choose whether to on the water pump or not? Meaning, if I don't on the water pump, I can still get water direct from the tangki air. Hope you can help explain how to go about with the piping + diagram.

Also, is it the kitchen gets water directly from the main pipe and not from the tangki? So if I install water pump, do I need to divert the kitchen's piping  to come from the tangki so that it will get strong water pressure also? Need to hack? Please advice... a bit headache with this, need to get a clear picture as I plan to start my reno soon. Thanks in advance!

bro cheekily,
if not mistaken, kitchen gets water directly from the main pipe....
before you decide whether want to install pump or not, .you can ask your plumber or measure yourself by using a gauge on the tap and read what is the psi/bar. Anything above 40psi is good enough.
all other sifus please correct me if i am wrong....

Thanks for your advice, BM81. Just to double confirm, for new house, all the shower head piping comes from tangki air or from direct main pipe? Izit just the kitchen piping is from direct main pipe and the rest all from tangki air?

Hi bro,
for most of the new house, shower head or toilet water comes from tangki, while kitchen comes from main pipe. smile.gif

for runaway or drive way use at least size A7...maybe your contractor is using A7 CQ.If less than that 2 mm then A6 CQ.if got pic easier to tell.
===============================================================================

TIP:
in reality i can know whether it is CQ or BS by looking at the appearance of the steel, but if you had no experience and skill there is a secret how to know the CQ and BS.Maybe the contractors in lowyat can reveal the secret if he is real contractor lah.
